Mike and his areas with South Dakota Hunting Service are better than advertised on the website and he is extremely humble about the game and quality as well.  I have hunted with Mike for pheasants, ducks, cranes, grouse, turkeys, and other game over nearly 10 years.  Years or hunts that I have not taken what I was after was not from a lack of opportunity.  The game is there, the opportunities are there, and Mike is easy to hunt with.  South Dakota Hunting Service is the real deal and I book every year.

My first hunt with Mike was way back in 1994. My experience on my first hunt with Mike in 1994 is has lead me to hunt with him nearly every spring since. I always see more turkeys on a three day hunt with Mike than I do all season back home on Georgia. I have never had a hunt with Mike that I didn’t get my bird. Best of all is Mike’s knowledge and professionalism combined with his laid back personality. He tailors each hunt to fit each hunter’s needs and always goes the extra mile to insure each hunter is satisfied. I plan to hunt with Mike as much as possible in the future. I have hunted all over the country but my hunts with Mike are second to none.

Thank you for providing my son and I with a memorable hunting experience. Our combination deer/pheasant hunt was great. I had good buck activity everyday and was very happy with the buck I killed. The pheasant hunting was without a doubt awesome! With this being my son’s first experience with wild pheasants, the bird numbers and opportunities we encountered made it an easy and enjoyable experience. Your accommodations were great and your staff went over the top to make us feel welcome. I think my son enjoyed the good food and desserts even more than the hunting. We will make our trip to Onida an every year father/son adventure.
