Whitetail Hunts The croplands, creek bottoms, tree lines, shelter belts, CRP and prairie grasslands of north central South Dakota provide the setting for our deer hunts. The combined efforts of limited hunting and selective harvest have made some of the best trophy deer hunting to be found in South Dakota. This is a very exciting, challenging and successful hunt. You can expect to see and harvest 130 – 150 class whitetails. Methods of hunt include stands, spot and stalk, rattling and calling. (Archery hunts October – Mid November) (Rifle 3rd Saturday November for 16 days)
Whitetail hunts can be combined with pheasant, ducks, geese, sandhill cranes and fishing.
